Darin Dixon
FOUNDER/ DIRECTOR/ COACH
Darin has coaching licenses in F, E, D, and C class. Coached at Zebulon Middle School for 16 years and at North Johnston High School from 2001-2005. As a coach he lead 4 teams to the North Carolina State Cup, finishing 2nd 3 times. Coached at CASL, XL Soccer World, and Sports HQ. He founded Active Kids Soccer League in 2003 which has grown into United Soccer Club. Has coached in Wendell for over 38 years. He coaches all the Recreation teams from 2 yrs old to 9 years old. He also coaches many of the Challenge and Classic teams. He has coached many players that have gone on to play collegiate soccer.
Bret Dixon
Bret has played soccer since he was 3 yrs old. He played at the Classic level from age 15 to 18 where he was selected for All Region his Junior and Senior year, All State his Senior year, and All Conference his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year.
He played collegiate soccer for Barton College.
He started coaching when he was 22 and became a head coach at age 24. He mainly coaches our clubs girls challenge teams. But he assists with all the teams when needed.
He is also on staff for Shaw University Soccer.
