Classic Competitive League

Our Classic teams compete within the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA).  Coached by our professional and paid coaching staff, Classic teams train at least 2 times a week, compete in 8-10 League games and will attend 2-3 tournaments throughout each season based on level of play, age groups, and if the team is full or half-season. (Fall/Spring). These tournaments could involve traveling to another city or state with overnight stays in a hotel, eating out, and usually at least three soccer games in one weekend. The tournament costs are not included in the annual classic fees and are extra per player.

Classic soccer is for the most talented players for boys and girls starting at U11-U19. Classic soccer focus is to continue to build on the technical skills that a player has developed thus far and begin to focus more on the tactical side of the game.

Games are typically played on the weekends, however an occasional game may be scheduled for a Friday evening. There may also be multiple games per weekend. Unlike challenge, playing time is not guaranteed, although player development is the main goal. Teams are promoted or declassed between divisions at the end of each season based on NCYSA standards.

Try outs are held annually in May/early June. Players interested in the classic program are required to attend tryouts to be evaluated.

Classic teams are a greater financial commitment than recreational or challenge soccer. For the 2024-2025 season, returning classic players fees will be $1100, for any new classic players fees will be $1200. The new classic player fee does include a uniform kit for each player, including 2 game jerseys, 2 practice jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks.

Registration fees are collected through the TeamSnap registration system, and can be paid in full upon registration, or the club will offer an installment plan to assist with spreading out payments over several months.
