Challenge Competitive League

Challenge soccer is for players ages 9-19 that are looking for a higher level of competition compared to recreational soccer.  Challenge teams will be United Soccer Club teams and will be scheduled to play through the NCFC Youth Challenge league.  Players interested in the Challenge program are required to attend tryouts to be evaluated.

Challenge Quick Facts:

• Intermediate program for players ages 9 - 18 (We offer 9-11 yrs old this year)
• Teams train 2x/week and play a game on the weekend
• Teams are led by paid coaches supported by a full-time Challenge Director
• Option to compete in select local/travel tournaments throughout the year

Teams will play approx 8 - 10 games per season (can be on Saturdays and/ or Sundays).  And also 1 or 2 tournaments per season, typically one preseason and one post season (tournaments are not included in season price).Challenge soccer is a full year's commitment.  That includes Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 season.

Cost for the entire year 2025-2026 seasons- $1100 per player, $700 for fall ($200 reg, $100 monthly payemts Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov), $500 for spring ($125 monthly payments Jan, Feb, March, Apr). All  fees include uniform kit including- 2 game jerseys, 2 practice jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks. This fee also includes 4 tournaments (2 fall and 2 spring).

Fees can be made in installments if needed.

Try Outs will be held on 5/20/2 and 5/22/25 6:00-7:30pm. Try Outs are located at 5675 Lake Wendell Rd, Wendell, NC 27591. An ITP must be completed prior to tryouts.
